Inspection wheel for higher Quality

For Companies that produce Aluminum Blocks for gearbox manufacturing, for example, good quality is of enormous importance. Inspecting individual parts via Camera is complex and uncertain, which is why specialists are needed to inspect finished cast aluminum parts. Accuracy and optics are the be-all and end-all.

The aim is to carry out an on-site Inspection in the existing system without restricting the assessor’s field of vision and his activities during the Inspection.

Realization

Thanks to a complex design, a dedicated Inspection wheel was developed to allow the operator to inspect the cast parts comprehensively. The Operator has the option of rotating the part separately in two axes and can check the block in the best possible way and determine the Quality.
