Automatic length stop
A large Austrian kitchen manufacturer was looking for an automated solution to optimize the production of different ALU profiles.
Assignment
The automatic length stop is designed to support the Operator in the Production of different ALU profiles. Lengths of up to 6400 mm can be entered and cut. Data is entered exclusively via SAP, which is connected to our control system via an RS232 interface.
Realization
A linear unit, which is driven by a toothed belt and a servo motor, allows the operator to set the length via a display. Thanks to a recirculating ball bearing guide and special drive components, we achieve an accuracy of +/- 0.2 mm.
